These Website Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to 7gen.com and its subdomains (the "Site"), operated by 7 Generation Capital Inc. ("7Gen", "we", "us", "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.

These Terms govern the Site only. If you become a 7Gen customer, a separate agreement — typically a master services agreement or a lease agreement — governs the product, financing, and service relationship between us and your organization. Those agreements take precedence over these Terms for matters within their scope.

1. Permitted use

You may view and use the Site for your own lawful, non-commercial and internal business purposes. You may not:

• copy, reproduce, distribute, or publish material from the Site without our permission;
• scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content (beyond what a search engine does for indexing under a reasonable robots.txt);
• attempt to gain unauthorized access, probe for vulnerabilities, or disrupt the Site;
• remove or alter any proprietary notices; or
• use the Site to transmit unlawful, harmful, or misleading content.

2. Intellectual property

The Site, including its text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and underlying code, is owned by 7Gen or licensed to us and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual-property law. The 7Gen name and logo are trademarks of 7 Generation Capital Inc. References to third-party names, logos, and trademarks on the Site are for identification only.

3. Fleet calculators and informational content

The Site includes calculators and other content intended to help you explore the economics of fleet electrification. This content is provided for information only and is not financial, tax, legal, engineering, or professional advice. Calculator outputs depend on the inputs you provide and on assumptions that vary by fleet, region, and time. Before making any commercial decision, verify the inputs, assumptions, and results with a qualified professional and with 7Gen.

4. Links to other websites

The Site may link to third-party websites and services (for example, social-media pages or vendor documentation). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or accuracy. Your use of third-party sites is governed by their own terms.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 7Gen disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, and freedom from errors or security vulnerabilities.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except in cases of gross or intentional fault under article 1474 of the Civil Code of Québec, 7Gen and its directors, officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, including lost profits, lost business, or lost data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. 7Gen's aggregate liability for any claim related to your use of the Site is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).

7. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information and describes your rights under Quebec's Law 25 and Canada's PIPEDA.

8. Governing law and forum

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Quebec, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the district of Montreal, Quebec, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

9. Language

These Terms are available in English and French. Under section 55 of the Charter of the French Language, the French and English versions are of equal effect for Quebec residents; if you identify any discrepancy between the two versions, please notify us at legal@7gen.com.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site when they take effect. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
